Bruiser
A great Kiwi bloke who gathered a bunch of young blokes together a young rabble of expats from NZ, Aussie , European countries to represent a working mans club from Sydney Metro district to play rugby & the great social life of Rugby camaraderie in Sydney in late 1990’s & 2000’s.
As President of the club he gave everything. I remember him dipping into his own pocket to keep the old Club a float, financially.
We always had a great time on the footy field & off the footy field, social side bought together by Bruiser.
Myself & Jo , Molly Nikki Siobhan spent many days & hours together part of the old extended family, wonderful memories.
Our thoughts are with all friends & family of the old Bruiser who guided & touched so many.
Rest easy brother always a great inspiration to so many, shed a tear, always remember the great times we had together.
Our hearts are heavy as we sit with you at Kaka Point, remembering the great Totara who stood amongst us, kind hearted and generous. Tam is very sorry he can’t be with you all in person, as am I and my two boys Manu and Whenua who both played for South Sydney NZ, where Bruce introduced them in the early 2000’s.
Uncle Bruce, thank you for the love, empathy, and comfort you gave our family when Dad and our grandad, your brother Cliff, passed away. Your kindness meant so much to us and will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, reunited with Judy, Val, and Cliff. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️
I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to my cousins Jodie, Tony, Michael, and Trudy. I know my dear uncle Bruce will be with good company alongside his mother, father, and his younger brother, Clifford (my father).

Well liked by all those that knew him. Always greeted you with a smile and always asked how r you? How’s Dennis no matter what.
Now his time has come to be apart of God’s plan so Bruce you Rest In Love xxx

Such a generous spirit, and great mate. I will never forget how he looked out for family and friends when they needed him. RIP Bruce.
